Ayoon Wa Azan (Killing Them Is Not Only Justified, But Also a Warranted Duty)
Published in AL HAYAT on 25 - 11 - 2009

In Yedioth Ahronoth, Alex Fishman wrote that the Israeli government is facing a dilemma as it contemplates releasing hundreds of prisoners in return for Hamas releasing Gilad Shalit, because many of those were sentenced to multiple life sentences for taking the lives of Israeli men, women and children, and because these people are not just “prisoners with blood on their hands,” but are “prisoners who are drenched in blood up to their ears.”
I want to ask here, if everyone who had blood on their hands in Palestine were to be imprisoned, would anyone remain in the government of Israeli fascists, and the officers of the neo-Nazi army of Israel, outside of prison bars? For each Israeli killed, there are seven or eight Palestinians who perished, including minors; in fact, the figures published by B'Tselem – the Israeli peace group – shows that between the years 1989 and 2009, 7398 Palestinians were killed, most of whom were civilians. This number included 1537 minors (the minors killed in the Gaza war alone amounted to 315 children), compared to 1483 Israelis, including 488 soldiers, who are nothing but occupation soldiers and killing them is not only justified, but also a warranted duty. The Israeli numbers also included 995 civilians, and I say on the record here that killing them is not acceptable. Moreover, of the total Israeli number, there were 139 minors. In other words, Israel is cast with sin, and its government, army and settlers are moulded in crime, and are a disgrace to Jews everywhere.
The rate of Palestinians killed at the hands of the Israelis is a Nazi rate par excellence; yet, these numbers are not the whole story: The Palestinians detained in Israeli prisons are true freedom fighters, whose lands were stolen and still are, and their lives destroyed, all while the robbery and the destruction still persist. As for the murderers from the Israeli side, they are nothing but war criminals that hide behind religious myths that have no basis at all in history or even geography.
Israel today is a despicable and hated state, a racial segregation state, or apartheid, and a separation wall that only has its match in the fallen Berlin Wall. No one likes Israel, including many Jews who refuse to be a party to its crimes.
There are many groups who share this view, such as Rabbis for Human Rights, the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions, B'Tselem, or the Israeli Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories, Yesh Gvul (a Hebrew expression meaning “there is a limit to silence”, which is an Israeli peace group campaigning against the occupation by backing soldiers who refuse duties of a repressive or aggressive nature). There are also “The Israeli and Palestinians Women Association, Ta'ayush [Ar. Coexistence], a group that also joins together Palestinians and Israelis and its name spares us the need for further explanation; there is also Bat Shalom, a feminist peace organization of Israeli women, the Alternative Information Center, the Arab Jewish Partnership, the Public Committee Against Torture in Israel (PCATI), and many more other groups.
The members of these groups do not want to destroy Israel; rather, they do not want Israel to destroy their lives. They thus refuse that a family walking on the beach be murdered or a child sitting in his father's lap, or that homes be destroyed and its inhabitants be displaced. They refuse to steal water, or to use children as human shields, and then accuse the victims of doing so.
Historically speaking, Israel never existed, and its supposed prophets are nothing but fictional figures in biblical myths. The state of Israel was established in our time for the sole purpose of sheltering the world Jewry from racism and anti-Semitism, after the Christian West murdered half of Europe's Jews. However, Israel has since committed crimes tantamount to the Nazi crimes targeting the Jews, and after being supposedly the sanctuary of Jews from anti-Semitism, it has become the first and most important motive behind anti-Semitism in the world today.
With every day that passes, something new happens to further fuel anti-Semitism. If it is not the Goldstone Report, then it is the construction of 900 housing units in the Gelo settlement on Palestinian lands – and all of Israel is in fact a Palestinian land, or it is soldiers refusing military orders to take action against illegal outposts – while all of Israel is in fact an illegal outpost.
How can there ever be peace with these people? Yesterday, the Israeli newspapers were talking about “the murderers”; however, they do not mention Ariel Sharon, Meir Dagan and the Israeli terrorists from the King David Hotel bombing until this very day, and only talk about people who are actually freedom fighters whose country was stolen, and who were displaced 61 years ago, while the killing and the displacement by force continues until this day.
Every Palestinian “terrorist”, in the Israeli mind, has been spawned by the original crime against the Palestinians and the ongoing occupation. Those who cry for a captive soldier are thus no better than the war criminals, since they are accomplices and hidden agitators to the degree of being complicit to the continuing crime. May God curse them all.
