Three years ago, I found out that I was the subject of an article entitled “Anti-Semitic Jihad (al-Khazen)” by Jonathan Schanzer of the Jewish Policy Center. He mentioned in the article that the then British Home Secretary David Blunkett made the inciting of religious hatred a criminal offence, and that my articles may qualify. In my response published on December 12, 2007, I said, “Good. I hereby throw down the gauntlet. The Jewish Policy Center or any such group is invited to take me to court in London and let English justice decide if I am an anti-Semite or a defender of the Jews. I am telling the accusers that they either put up or shut up.” This time, the Simon Wiesenthal Center accused me of adopting an anti-Jewish rhetoric, after I said that the Jews invented a religion to steal a country from its owners. The advocates of Israel cannot stomach what I write. The reason for this, whether three years ago or today, is that they refuse to believe that they are supporting a state that was established on another people's lands; a state that continues to murder, destroy and steal homes. In the outgoing decade alone, Israel murdered 1500 underage Palestinians, or Palestinians who are under fifteen years of age, compared to 135 underage Israelis; this ratio is in excess of ten to one, which is a quintessentially Nazi ratio. Every day, something new happens to further indict Israel, and I do not need to return to any old atrocities committed by Israel since the recent days alone have seen enough crimes by this state. - The impostor Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Americans are the ones who stopped a freeze of settlement activity. - Ma'ariv published a report under the title of “the Rejectionist Front”. The title was neither in reference to Syria nor to any Palestinian resistance faction, but rather to the extremist Israeli government, which twice declined to accept or read a Palestinian document clarifying the demands of the Palestinians in the peace process, according to Ma'ariv – not Al-Hayat. - The same newspaper said that Labor would leave the government, because of stalled diplomatic efforts. - Brothel bouncer Avigdor Lieberman wants to appoint a special ambassador for Holocaust issues, to divert attention away from Israel's present day crimes, with a crime that was committed 65 years ago. Meanwhile, his party asked the Knesset to suppress Jewish humanitarian organizations that monitor the army's activities. - Yediot Ahronot wrote about Rabbi Yitzhak Ginsburg, who wrote a book praising Baruch Goldstein, the perpetrator of the massacre at the Ibrahimi Mosque, and Rabbis Yitzhak Shapira and Yosef Elitzur who co-authored the book Torat Ha'Melech, which asserts that the killing of innocent goyim women and children is permitted in wartime under Halacha, the Jewish religious law. - The same newspaper said that the war criminal Ariel Sharon appointed Meir Dagan as head of the Mossad and told him that he wants the intelligence agency to work with a 'knife between its teeth'. Mossad then operated like a buccaneer, and engaged in assassinations around the world, forging the passports of countries friendly to Israel in the process. As a reminder, Dagan was Sharon's subordinate in the southern front (Gaza) in the seventies, and is notoriously known for personally murdering Palestinians with a Japanese sword. Israeli is a criminal state founded on biblical myths. Anyone who defends it is an accomplice in its crimes. More to the point, Israel does not represent the world Jewry, as the majority of Jews are peace seekers who do not want to be associated with a state led by a fascist government. For this reason, the majority of campaigns advocating academic, commercial and political boycott of Israel are led by pro-Peace Jews, including some in Israeli universities. Since those are often accused of being ‘self-hating Jews', I do not find it strange that I am being accused [of anti-Semitism]. This is despite the fact that I have attacked the revisionist historian David Irving for denying the Holocaust, sharply criticized Mahmoud Ahmadinejad time and again for the same reason, and endorsed the peace process. I even criticized Abu Ammar [Yasser Arafat] when the peace process collapsed and called on him to resign, and worked with the Prime Minister at the time Abu Mazen [Mahmoud Abbas] and Khaled Meshaal until a truce was declared in the summer of 2003; I therefore contributed to sparing Israeli and Palestinian lives during the Second Intifada. To date, I continue to support any peace and oppose any war. Nevertheless, being accused of anti-Semitism places me in good company. For instance, the despicable apologist for Israel Alan Dershowitz charges the Reverend Desmond Tutu with anti-Semitism, because Tutu says that Israel is an apartheid state, along with the former President of Ireland Mary Robinson, who attacked Israeli policies and who currently chairs the UN High Commission for Human Rights. I also found myself in good company with other figures mentioned in a list by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, of the top ten – or worst - anti-Semitic slurs. At the top of the list was Helen Thomas, who said that Jews should get out of Palestine and return to their countries in Poland, Germany, the United States and elsewhere. I support her stance as I support that of Al-Mutawakil Taha, Deputy Minister of Information for the Palestinian Authority, who said that the Jews have no historical or religious ties to the Temple Mount and that there is no evidence that the Temple Mount was built during the period of King Solomon, which is spot on. I also accept half of the statement made by filmmaker Oliver Stone about the Jewish lobby and its enormous influence in Washington, but reject his assertions about Hitler, the Russians and the Jews, while I find the statements attributed to the seven other figures on the list to be indeed anti-Semitic. I say again that Israel is a racist illegitimate state that murders women and children, and anyone who defends this state is on par with it. [email protected]
