Perhaps the Arab reader assumes that there cannot be in Israel anyone more extreme or willing to engage in terrorism, lies and deception than Benjamin Netanyahu. But the members of the entire Israeli cabinet are all like Netanyahu, and yet, there are those who are to the right of these people and who outbid them. The world's opinion on Israel is well-known, even before the UN General Assembly voted to recognize Palestine as an observer state with a majority of 138 votes to 9. If we recall the magnitude of U.S pressure on UN members, the result does not reflect what I have seen each year at the General Assembly. Indeed, some countries are in need of U.S. aid, and some of Israel's supporters are not states in the real sense, but more like tourist islands. Netanyahu said that he does not care about the UN condemnation of settlement building, and added, “We live in a Jewish state and Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. The Western Wall is not occupied territory. We will build in Jerusalem because it is our right." All of Israel is a settlement built on Palestinian land. There is no Western or Eastern wall, but only a 200 meter-long Wailing Wall that dates back to the Mamluk era, while the Western Wall is only a new name for a wall that is a few kilometers long. From the falsification of history and geography to the falsification of the present, Netanyahu is still threatening Hamas and claiming that the Israeli army – that is to say, the occupation gang – has dealt the resistance movement a severe blow, and that it will deal it another even more severe blow. He had promised during the election campaign to topple the Hamas government in Gaza. I say that he has been trying to do this since the 1990s and has failed, and is covering-up his failure with empty threats. I would like to present the readers now with an Israeli politician who is as despicable as Netanyahu or even more so, if that is at all possible: Naftali Bennett, Chairman of the Jewish Home Party, who served as Netanyahu's chief of staff between 2006 and 2008, before he broke away and established an extreme right-wing party that supports settlements and opposes the establishment of a Palestinian state. What claim does Naphtali Bennett have to Palestine? He is the son of an American immigrant from San Francisco. In other words, his relationship to the land of Palestine does not go back further than a few decades in the land inhabited by Palestinians for the last two thousand years. He wants to annex Area C of the West Bank, or 60 percent of the latter, all to Israel, and then negotiate with the Palestinians. I suggest that they negotiate with him over his return to San Francisco. Naftali Bennett is as arrogant as he is an extremist. In a television interview, he said that if he was serving in the army and was ordered to evict a settlement, he would refuse to carry out his orders. Netanyahu responded in a subsequent television interview by saying that whoever encourages disobedience cannot serve in the next Israeli government. The committee for the elections scheduled to be held on the 22nd of January, 2013, ruled to grant Bennet damages for ads paid for by the Likud alliance, while Yisrael Beiteinu also referred to his incitement to disobedience. Before I forget, one cannot mention extremists and terrorists without talking about Avigdor Lieberman, head of Yisrael Beiteinu, or the immigrant from Moldova who once worked as a brothel bouncer. He resigned from the foreign ministry after being accused of embezzlement, fraud and abuse of power, and faces a judicial inquiry for – according to the leaks that I read about the issue – more serious charges than the original charges, which also include bribery. The original charge is related to Israel's ambassador to Belarus Zeev Ben-Aryeh, who handed him secret documents about the police investigation into his activities. Lieberman rewarded him by putting pressure on the appointments committee in his ministry to appoint him as an ambassador to Latvia. Tens of thousands of kilometers away, there are the cheerleaders, instigators and enablers for the neo-Nazism, racism and occupation in Israel. At present, there is a letter circulating in the U.S. House of Representatives demanding the Obama administration to punish Palestine by closing the Palestinian mission in Washington and cutting off funding for the United Nations and all the international organizations that recognize Palestine. The letter was the idea of Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, a Jewish immigrant from Cuba, and Howard Berman, another Jew who owes his allegiance solely to Israel. I challenge them all, from Israel to America. The politics which they promote mean a third intifada and a fourth and a fifth, followed by terrorists with weapons of mass destruction that will harm Palestinians along with Israelis.
