A suicide bomber killed ten civilians and three policemen in eastern Afghanistan on Saturday, a local government office said. According to dpa, the bomber detonated his suicide vest at a checkpoint in the Alisher district of Khost province where policemen were having lunch, the provincial governor's office said in a statement. Two children were among those killed in the attack. The statement said the attack was an "inhuman and cruel" act by the enemies of Afghanistan.
