In cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Information and the Embassy of the United States in Riyadh, the Consultative Commission for the National Museum has organized "From Washington to Riyadh" cultural exhibition for late Wahbi Al-Hariri Al-Rufaee, an Arab American prominent artist. The event, which took place here last night, was opened by Dr. Nasser bin Saleh Al-Hujailan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for Cultural Affairs, in the presence of the U.S. ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia James Smith and the museum's Director Dr. Abdullah Al-Saud. A speech party was held to mark the event. Ambassador Smith gave an account on the works of the artist, noting that the exhibition contains 50 collections. From Washing to Riyadh, illustrates the world's major mosques which the artist drew during a journey that took him to Spain, China, Central Asia and Africa.
