Outgoing French President Nicolas Sarkozy chaired the last cabinet meeting of his presidency Wednesday at the Elysee Palace, six days before the inauguration of president-elect Francois Hollande. Sarkozy gathered the 32 members of Prime Minister Francois Fillon's government for a review of the government's record over the past five years. The single-term president was defeated by Hollande in the second round of the country's presidential election on Sunday. Emerging from the meeting, several ministers said that Sarkozy had wished Hollande "good luck." Hollande takes office on May 15, according to a report of DPA. His first task will be to name a new prime minister, with whom he will appoint a cabinet.
