Fillon reappointed as prime minister

Hijjah 08, 1431H/Nov. 14, SPA -- French President Nicolas Sarkozy has reappointed Francois Fillon as prime minister and asked him to create a new government.
Sarkozy's office issued a statement Sunday morning announce the reappointment. Fillon resigned Saturday night, a required step before any new government can be put in place.
