Qatari Emir Receives GCC Secretary General

Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of Qatar received here today the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Dr. Abdul-Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani.
He briefed the Qatari Emir on the on-going preparations for the 14th annual session of the Consultative Summit of the GCC leaders, scheduled to take place next week in Riyadh.
They also discussed a number of issues related to the joint GCC works and the latest developments in the region.
