The General President of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (CPVPV), Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdul Aziz Al Al-Sheikh received here today President of the Human Rights Commission (HRC) Dr. Bandar bin Mohammad Al-Aiban and the accompanying delegation. The meeting dealt with issues of common interest between the two sides and the prospects for cooperation for the success of works and functions of the two bodies. The General President of CPVPV stressed his commitment to spreading the culture of human rights and strengthening its safeguards because they are values that are guaranteed by Islamic law and the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting the interest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince in building institutions that achieve social balance and activate their functions to achieve good for the society. The General President also reiterated that CPVPV Presidency is bolstering its development with beneficial partnerships to improve the performance of its employees. For his part, Dr. Al-Aiban stated that state agencies cooperate under the guidance of the guardians to reinforce the message of the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice and the protection of rights, and praised the courses conducted by the Presidency for its employees, the contribution of the Human Rights Commission to the training of employees of the CPVPV and its Strategic Plan.
