Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan, Saudi Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Arab League, returned here today to carry on with his duties at the embassy after the Kingdom's embassy to Cairo and consulates in Alexandria and Suez were reopened. In a statement he made upon arrival in Egypt today, Ambassador Qattan said: "I arrived here today in line with directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and I will start my duties as of tomorrow." He added that the bilateral relations have been consolidated in past few days as the passing events reflected the sincere feelings of the beloved Egyptian people towards the Kingdom, Saudi leadership and Saudi people. -- SPA
