At King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Islamic Center in Cameroon, as many as 40 men and women from the village of Babenki near the city of Bamenda embraced Islam after Friday prayers. The embracing ceremony was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Cameroon Mahmoud bin Hussein Qattan, and Head of Consular Section at the Embassy Abdulrahman Bin Qulayil Al-Khudaidi. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on this occasion, the Saudi Ambassador expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his services to Islam and Muslims all over the world and for the establishment of the Center at his own expenses.
