Prince Salman Visits Peninsula Shield Forces Command

Batin, Jumada II 11, 1433, May 2, 2012, SPA -- Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, today visited the headquarters of the command of the Joint Peninsula Shield forces in the northern region.
He was welcomed upon his arrival by commander of the Joint Peninsula Shield forces Major General Metlaq Alozima and senior military officers.
Prince Salman, then, went to the briefing room, where he listened to a briefing from Major General Alozima on the works carried out by the Peninsula Shield forces and the tasks assigned to it.
The Minister of Defense was accompanied during the visit by Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Mosaed, Deputy Governor of Eastern Region; Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Prince Ahmad bin Fahad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Prince Bandar bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Chief of the General Staff Gen. Hussein Al-Qabil, and Director General of the Office of the Minister of Defense, Lt. General Abdul Rahman Al-Bunyan.
