The Interior Ministry issued a statement today on the implementation of a sentence of execution for two convicts in Jazan region. The statement said that Najoum Mohammad Amin Abdul-Sharif and Abdul-Majid Abu Bakr Hamza, Bangladeshi nationals, killed Mohammed Shaheen Mohammad Kabir, a Bangladeshi national, and stole money and mobile phones from him. Najoum Muhammad Amin Abdulsharif and Abdul-Majid Abu Bakr Hamza were arrested, tried and executed for their crime today (Tuesday, May 1, 2012) in the city of Jazan. The General Court issued the sentence against them. It was approved by the Cassation Court and the Supreme Court. A royal order was issued to implement the sentence. The Ministry of Interior stresses the keenness of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on the achievement of security and justice and the implementation of rules of Sharia against anyone who attacks innocent people and sheds their blood, warning of punishment against anyone who tries to commit crimes, the statement said.
