The Ministry of Interior issued a statement today on the execution of Abdulrazzaq bin Ahmed bin Omar Al-Sayyid of Yemeni nationality in Abha, Asir region, today for killing Choudari Faisal Nawaz of Pakistani nationality. The Ministry said that 14 other Yemenis have been sentenced to prison for various periods in addition to flogging for attacking and seizing money and mobiles of two Pakistanis in collaboration with Abdulrazzaq bin Ahmed bin Omar Al-Sayyid, noting that they all confessed their crimes; the General Court has issued the sentences against them which have been approved by the Cassation Court and Supreme Court of Magistracy; and a royal order has been issued to implement the sentences. The Ministry of Interior stresses the keenness of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on the achievement of security and justice and the implementation of rules of Sharia against anyone who attacks innocent people and sheds their blood, warning of punishment against anyone who tries to commit crimes.
