Minister of Water and Electricity Eng. Abdulah bin Abdulrahman Al-Hossein has signed 25 contracts to implement several water and sanitation projects in various parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at a total cost of more than SR 166 million. These projects will be implemented in regions of Arar; Rafah; Hail; Riyadh; Jazan, Madinah and Najran. The execution of these projects range from 12 months to 36 months. The implementation of these projects by the Ministry of Water and Electricity are within the framework of royal directives of the wise government under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and his constant care to provide all necessary utility services to the citizens in all parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They also reflect the Ministry's continual services for the benefit of citizens and take into account the requirements of the next phase of the urbanization and rapid population growth in cities and governorates of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
