Prince ambassador Khalid bin Saud bin Khalid, the Saudi Assistant Foreign Minister chaired here today the 3rd regional meeting of Heads of the Kingdom's missions accredited to the East and Southeast Asian countries, Australia and New Zealand. In an address at the meeting, he highlighted the importance of the region of East and Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the significance of the meeting in boosting coordination and cooperation between the Foreign Ministry and missions of the Kingdom in this important region on topics and issues of common concern. Later, the working sessions of the meeting began their deliberations in which participants discussed the duties of the Kingdom's missions for (the service of) Saudi citizens abroad. They also reviewed and followed up the five-year plan for the Kingdom's operational missions in the East and Southeast Asian countries, Australia and New Zealand.
