Thirteen people were killed and 21 injured when shanghais tour bus and a lorry crashed Sunday in eastern China, dpa quoted state media as reported. Four of the 21 were in critical condition. The lorry driver and six of the bus' 33 passengers were killed instantly, the Xinhua news agency reported. Six others died despite rescue efforts. The coach coming from Shanghai had plunged through the middle of the expressway, provincial authorities told the agency, and collided with a truck coming the opposite way on the Changshu section of the Yanjiang Expressway in Jiangsu province. Both vehicles overturned, the government spokesman said. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
