The Director General of United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Irina Bokova received here yesterday the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja currently on a visit to France. During the meeting, Dr. Khoja expressed his appreciation of UNESCO for an opportunity to organize Saudi Cultural Days at the Organization's headquarters, stressing the interest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his support for dialogue among civilizations and cultures. He pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its mission at UNESCO has been working hard to communicate with various peoples and civilizations. For her part, Dr. Bokova expressed her appreciation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for holding Saudi Cultural Days at UNESCO headquarters, stressing that the event will be an opportunity to be acquainted with the Kingdom's heritage and culture. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdullah Al-Jasser, Kingdom's Representative to UNESCO Dr. Ziad Al-Drees, and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for International Cultural Relations Abdul Rahman Al-Hazza.
