In the presence of Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah Province, who is also President of Arab Thought Foundation, and Irina Bokova, the Director General of United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed between the two sides at the headquarters of the Organization in Paris on Monday. The Prince also attended a symposium entitled "The Role of Civil Society Institutions in Rapprochement of Cultures'' held by Arab Thought Foundation at UNESCO headquarters on Monday morning. On the other hand, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to UNESCO, Dr. Ziad Al-Drees held a dinner party here on Sunday evening in honor of Prince Khalid Al-Faisal.
