The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet session which was held at his residence in Rawdhat Khuraim today. At the outset of the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on the talks he held with the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyeb Erdogan, lauding the depth of relations between the two countries and their keenness to enhance them in all fields for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session, Dr. Jubara bin Eid Al-Suraisri, Minister of Transport and Acting Minister of Culture and Information, said the Cabinet discussed a number of reports on the latest developments at regional and international arenas, renewing in this regard the condemnation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of the terrorist bombing which took place in the village of Al-Aker in the Kingdom of Bahrain, leaving seven policemen injured while performing their national duty. The Cabinet stressed the outright and decisive stand of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Cabinet also expressed the dissatisfaction and disapproval of the Kingdom regarding the visit made by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the Iranian-occupied United Arab Emirates island of Abu Musa, considering it a violation of the sovereignty of the UAE and a transgression of the various efforts being made to find a peaceful settlement to the issue of UAE islands through direct negotiations or international arbitration (International Court of Justice). --More
