The Arab League expressed deep concern today of President Ahmadi Nejad of Iran's visit to the occupied UAE island of Abu-Musa, confirming that this step is absolutely unacceptable and is considered a flagrant violation of the tranquilization efforts and to the endeavor of tackling the issue of Iran's occupation of the UAE islands. In a statement, Dr. Nabeel Al-Arabi underscored the importance of Iran's refraining from such acts that would augment the degree of tension in the region and mars the Arab Iranian relations, calling for the importance of solving the islands problem through direct negotiations or resort to arbitration at the International Justice Tribunal.
