Three security personnel including the police bodyguard of a bank owner in the Philippines were shot dead in an attack by unidentified gunmen, a police spokesman said Sunday. The victims were killed around midnight when the suspects broke into a house in the Manila suburb of Las Pinas, Superintendent Danilo Pecana said. Pecana said the victims - a police officer, a retired police officer and a civilian - were all working as guards for the owner of a bank that was placed under receivership last year. The bank owner was unharmed in the break-in. Investigators were still determining the motive for the attack and have ruled out robbery since no belongings were taken from the house, according to a report of DPA.
