Yemeni President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi Wednesday called on the country's political parties to act in "full harmony" and to avoid violence. "All powers should join hands and act in full harmony to help the Military and Security Committee fulfill its tasks," the state news agency "SABA" quoted Hadi as saying, referring to a panel set up to re-establish security in the country. Hadi took office of the President in February. "The committee has yet to undertake well-defined tasks including ... protection of power-generating facilities and oil and gas pipelines," Hadi said Wednesday at a security meeting, which SABA termed as extraordinary.
