King Patronizes Celebrations of KFUPM's 50th Anniversary

Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region inaugurated here Tuesday evening the celebrations of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals on the 50th anniversary of its inception.
Addressing the ceremony, the Prince said, "The King's patronage of this historical occasion confirms the keenness of our wise leadership and interest in continuing support for education and represents the King's appreciation of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals as a leading educational institution contributing to support development in our dear country. "
The ceremony was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for Petroleum Affairs, Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari and senior officials.
