The 37th annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group began here today where representatives of 56 countries are taking part at the level of finance ministers and central banks governors. The Saudi delegation to the meetings is led by the Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf. The Saudi Ambassador to Sudan Faisal bin Hamid Mualla is part of the delegation. Sudan's President Omer Al-Bashir opened the meetings, pointing that Islamic world countries constitute a single block, a fact that enable it to become a reliable economic power provided being stimulated by a firm political will. President of IDB Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ali also attended the opening session. -- SPA
