Sudanese Newspapers Round-up

The Sudanese newspapers highlighted today a number of local, regional and international events.
Among the local items, they focused on the inauguration of the Sudanese President Omer Al-Bashir the function of the new formed regional authority in Darfur, in the presence of the Chadian President Idriss Debbi, Qatari Minister of Justice Hassan Abdullah Ghanim and the Saudi Ambassador to Sudan Faisal bin Hamid Mualla in addition to other top-level participants.
On the other hand, it highlighted, the warnings of two UN agencies that famine is jeopardizing the lives of
millions of Southern Sudanese this year, due to strives, displacement and increased foodstuff prices.
