Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare and Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, chaired the Gulf Cooperation Council Olympic national committees 26th conference in Jeddah today. Addressing the meeting, Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the conferees and reminded them of the monarch's call for moving with the GCC from cooperation to union. He said that the GCC Olympic athletes have lagged behind others, necessitating the exertion of strenuous effort in the field of Olympic games and training. Then the meeting discussed the issues on its agenda and made relevant recommendations.
