Arab Foreign Ministers, conferring in Baghdad to draft a final communiqué for their heads of states scheduled to meet in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad tomorrow, have reportedly agreed on a draft resolution on the situation in Syria. In a joint press conference with the Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed bin Hali, Iraq's Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari announced that the meeting has reached a draft resolution based on the previous Arab resolutions and the developments following the visit of the joint UN-AL envoy to Syria Kofi Annan, particularly the acceptance of the Syrian government of his six-point plan to solve the impasse in Syria. Zebari said the file of Syria was deposited to the United Nations Security Council. He described the meeting as fruitful, noting that the agenda was squeezed to nine items only.
