Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Makkah Region, today announced company winners of implementing Jeddah rain drainage, water discharge and sewage treatment projects. Choosing four Saudi and foreign partner companies to implement the SR3.388 billion worth of projects nicknamed "the permanent solution of flood disastrous water in Jeddah", Prince Khalid Al-Faisal congratulated the residents of Jeddah and its neighborhoods of having a king with charitable hands, broad-mind thinking and interest in his people, in reference to the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to up-root the seasonal problem of flood attacks over Jeddah downtown and valley-based or mountainous homes. Prince Khalid Al-Faisal also thanked Crown Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, members of the Ministerial branch committee and the Executive committee for their strenuous effort to make this project a reality. --SPA
