Saudi Embassy in Greece has cautioned Saudi citizens against offers for selling luxury cars in Greece and Cyprus at cheap prices through telephone calls and the internet. The Embassy pointed out that a number of citizens have received phone calls and contacts via the Internet from gangs using the Internet for fraud, and they will disappear immediately after receiving the money, noting that these gangs have put fake names, addresses and phone numbers that cannot be pursued by Greek authorities. It indicated that two Saudi citizens have been recently subjected to this type of fraud and the Embassy is still following up with the competent authorities in both Greece and Cyprus to regain their rights.
