Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense and Chairman of King Abdul-Aziz Foundation for Research and Archives, received here today Maher bin Nasser Al-Ajaji accompanied by a number of Al-Ajaji family members who handed over to Prince Salman more than 1,500 documents. The documents are correspondence between (the late) King Abdulaziz and Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz Ajaji about the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz thanked the family of Al-Ajaji for their national initiative in handing these historical documents, stressing the importance of cooperation by citizens in the collection of historical documents of the Arabian peninsula in general and the Kingdom in particular because it is a priceless national treasure that should be made available to researchers.
