Swiss Teacher Kidnapped in Yemen

The Swiss government confirmed on Friday that a Swiss woman had been kidnapped in the western Yemen city of Hudayda, as dpa reported.
The Foreign Ministry was informed Thursday evening that the woman was kidnapped. Swiss police and intelligence agencies were working on the case, and the ministry said it was in contact with Yemeni authorities.
The woman was kidnapped several days ago and moved to an unknown location in the province of Shabwah, some 470 kilometres east of the capital Sana'a, the Mareb Press news website reported citing a security source said.
