A session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers began today in the Tunisian city of Hammamet. The Saudi delegation to the meeting was led Prince Ahmad bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of the Interior. Crown Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Interior and Honorary President of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, directed a speech to the opening of the session. It was delivered by Prince Ahmad bin Abdul Aziz. In the speech, the Crown Prince said he wished to attend the meeting but his scheduled medical examinations coincided with the meeting preventing him from attending. He wished success to the meeting and expressed support for Tunisians. He said that the hurtful violence and bloodshed in Syria are not acceptable wishing it security, stability and prosperity under an agreed national regime.
