The statement welcomed the outcomes of London Conference on Somalia held on 23 of February 2012, confirming the importance of achieving political stability in this African horn Arab country. The Council expressed hope that the world community would cooperate to put the measures agreed upon on terror, piracy and starvation combat into force to help end the sufferings of the Somali people.
