Under the chairmanship of Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister, in his capacity as the rotational head of the ministerial council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states' foreign ministers, the council will hold its 122nd session here on Sunday. In a press statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) the Secretary General of the GCC Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayyani, who will take part in the meetings, said that the council will review a number of memos and reports submitted by the Secretariat of the GCC on Gulf joint action, in addition to a report related to the panel in charge of studying the Saudi proposal to promote the cooperation among the member states of the GCC up to the stage of a union. Arab, regional and international issues of interest to the GCC member states will be reviewed, too, he concluded. -- SPA
