Saudi Professional League Renamed to League of Professional Clubs

Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare and President of Saudi Arabian Football Federation announced a number of decisions relating to the Saudi football.
Top among these decisions is the renaming of the Saudi Professional League to be the League of Professional Clubs.
Among other changes are to downsize the overall number of foreign professional players allowed to be recruited by local teams to three only and to change the First Division League to a Professional League.
