Prince Sultan Bin Fahd, Chairman of the General Presidency of Youth Welfare, President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) approved Monday a suggestion by Prince Nawaf Bin Faisal Bin Fahd, Vice Chairman of the GPYW and Vice President of SAFF, to establish an independent body to run the football Premier League clubs. This commission will be headed by Prince Nawaf. Prince Nawaf said the new body would be totally autonomous, but would work under Saudi Arabian Football Federation. He also added that it would have its own headquarters and administrative system in accordance with the bodies of professional league in continental and international federations. The new commission includes experienced persons like Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al-Nuaiser (acting chief executive officer), Dr. Hafiz Mudlij, Fahd Al-Museibih, Mosa'ad Al-Abdali, Faisal Abdul Hadi, Tariq Kayal and Dr. Majed Garoub. Prince Nawaf said that under the body of the Asian Football Federation, a specialized international company has been assigned for marketing and financing the professional league and develop administrative cadres. He also added that a specialized company is now working on a slogan for the new commission that could highlight the objectives of the commission. According to Prince Nawaf, a legal company will also be appointed to look after the new commission's accounting affairs. He concluded that depending on the system of the commission, all the 12 premier league clubs have been notified to turn their football clubs into commercial ones. __
