Two trains carrying coal carriages collided in Muaraenim district, South Sumatra province on Sunday morning, leaving four train's crew members killed, a railway company spokesman said. In addition to the fatalities, two other crew members sustained injuries. The four fatalities have been evacuated and handed over to their families, ANTARA quoted the spokesman as saying. In addition to the four fatalities, the two injured victims have been rushed to a nearby hospital, he said. According to the spokesman, the railway company officials have been trying to remove the ill-fated Babaranjang train carrying 44 coal carriages and the Sukacinta train with its 16 coal carriages to the saver locations. So far there is no immediate report of the cause of the train collision.
