At least six people were injured as two trains collided Tuesday near the Austrian capital, the Red Cross said. According to reports by railroad officials circulated by The Associated Press, the accident occurred near the village of Gramatneusiedl, some 24 kilometers (15 miles) south of Vienna, when a freight train hit a commuter train and three carriages derailed. The injured were transported by helicopters and ambulances to nearby hospitals. Railway experts and police were investigating the cause of the collision, they said.
