At least 16 people were killed Sunday in a suicide bombing outside a police training academy in central Baghdad, a security source said. According to dpa, the bomber, wearing an explosive belt, blew himself up at the gate of the police academy, in a busy neighbourhood where some government institutions are based. Twenty-three people were injured in the attack, the deadliest this month.
