The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has called for performing Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayer throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday in line with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the Royal Court said in a statement. The Prophet exhorted Muslims to perform Istisqa prayer at the time of drought and delay in rainfall. In line with the directives of the King, orders have been issued to offer Istisqa prayer all over the Kingdom.
