South Korea's National Handball Team won the Cup of the 15th Asian Men's Handball Championship (Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Championship) after having defeated Qatar 23/22 in their final encounter held here this evening and qualified for World Handball Cup in Spain 2013 beside Qatar who finished 2nd place and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 3rd place. Following their final match, Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare crowned South Korea Handball National Team with the Championship's Cup, Qatari team with silver medals and the Saudi team with bronze medals for finished third. Saudi goalkeeper Manaf Al Said won the prize of the best goalkeeper in the tournament. In a press statement after the prize ceremony, Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz extended congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the occasion of the qualification of the Saudi Arabian National Handball Team for 2013 World Men's Handball Championship in Spain.
