A tourist bus collided with a parked vehicle Friday in the U.S. Virgin Islands, injuring at least 13 cruise ship passengers, authorities said. A group of passengers from the Serenade of the Seas cruise shop that docked in St. Thomas on Friday was on an open-air bus on a steep road near the island's Beacon Point when the accident occurred, said Police spokeswoman Melody Rames. Tourist Department spokeswoman Allegra Kean-Moorehead said one female passenger was hospitalized and 12 others were released shortly after being treated. According to Kean-Moorehead, the Royal Caribbean ship is expected to depart later Friday without the injured passenger.
