The Chairman of the German Arab Association for Industry and Economy Thomas Bach has held a dinner party in honor of Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of the General Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, in the presence of Germany's former Counselor Gerhard Schroder. He said such presentations will present a more clear picture of Islam to German public and others as well as how co-existence among followers of different religions takes place. He underscored the importance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia historically and economically, noting its civilizational leverage in history. For his part, the Mayor and Ruler of Berlin Klaus Wowereit expressed the wish of Berlin to boost relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, confirming that Berlin is a capital for all cultures and religions.
