The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia handed Jamaat Ansar Al-Sunnah in Sudan 50,000 copies of the Holy Quran as a gift from the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for distribution in Sudan. The handing-over ceremony last night was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Sudan Faisal bin Hamed Mu'alla, and Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Ahmed Karti, Minister of Guidance and Endowments Dr. Khalil Abdullah and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Mohammed Abdul Kareem Al-Hidd. On his part, the Saudi Ambassador pointed out handing over these copies of the Holy Quran printed at King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran in Madinah came in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince, noting that The Kingdom has distributed since the last month of Ramadan more than 70,000 copies of the Holy Quran in Sudan. On their part, Sudanese ministers expressed their appreciation for this valuable gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, which coincides with the conclusion of Khartoum International Festival of the Holy Quran.
