Minister of Commerce and Industry Meets Canadian Economic Development Minister

The Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah met here today with Quebec Minister of Economic Development of Canada Sam Hamad.
The meeting dealt with discussions on commercial and industrial relations between the two countries and, means of their enhancement through the promotion of private sectors in the two countries.
The meeting was attended by the Ministry's Undersecretary for Foreign Trade Abdullah Al-Hammoudi.
It is noteworthy that the volume of trade exchanges between the two countries in 2010 amounted to SR 12,790 million, exports totaled SR 7,323 million, and imports accounted for SR 5,467 million.
