Minister of Commerce and Industry Meets Assistant U.S. Trade Representative

Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah met here today Assistant U.S. Trade Representative, Daniel Malone.
During the meeting, they discussed trade and industrial relations between the two friendly countries and means of bolstering cooperation as well as taking advantage of available opportunities and benefits.
They also reviewed the promotion of trade and industrial cooperation by encouraging the private sector in both countries.
In 2010, the volume of trade exchange between the two countries amounted to SR 177,424 million. This comprised Saudi exports worth SR 124,675 million while the value of U.S. imports accounted for SR 52,749 million.
