Yemen will participate in the 13th GCC Industrialists Conference, scheduled to start its three-day works in Riyadh on January 17. Yemen's delegation to the conference will be headed by its Industry and Trade Minister Saad Bin Talib. It will be comprised of a number of Yemeni officials, industrialists and businessmen. On the eve of the conference, in a statement to the official Al-Thawrah newspaper, the Under Secretary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Abdullah Al Noman said "Yemen's participation in the conference will enable his country to explore new areas of modern techniques and acquire the knowledge about high-tech industries that are operational in member countries of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which have reached advanced levels in manufacturing and other industrial spheres. "Moreover, this participation could also contribute to raising the competitiveness of Yemen's industries in the regional and Arab markets," he added.
