The Saudi side reaffirmed its commitment to One-China Policy, and the Chinese side expressed its appreciation for this. 4- Support and encouragement of cultural exchanges between the two countries at official and popular levels, and promotion of exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in the fields of information, tourism, health and agriculture. 5- Support for cooperation in the fields of youth, sports, technical and technological education to enhance understanding and friendship between the two countries and their peoples. 6- The two sides stressed the importance of preventing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction of all kinds, and the two sides expressed their support for making the Middle East, a zone free of weapons of mass destruction including nuclear weapons, in accordance with international resolutions in this regard. 7- Strengthening of political cooperation in the light of international law to resolve international conflicts existing in the world in general and the Middle East in particular by peaceful means and as well as strengthening of peace and stability in the Middle East. 8- As for the peace process in the Middle East, the two sides reaffirmed that a comprehensive and just solution to Arab-Israeli conflict based on relevant international legitimacy resolutions will be the firm basis of stability in the Middle East, and eliminate a major source of tension and threat to international peace and security. In this regard, the two sides stressed their support for the establishment of an independent and viable Palestinian state, emphasizing the importance of Arab peace initiative as approved by Beirut Summit in 2002 and confirmed by Arab Summit in Riyadh in 2007 and referred to by the resolutions of the United Nations and statements of International Quartet Committee . --More
