Presided over by its Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Majlis Al-Shura approved in its session here today a draft of Arbitration Regulation. Majlis' Secretary General Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi said in a statement after the session that the regulation includes 58 articles aiming to speed the resolution of disputes, noting that the new regulation represents a progress of arbitration process in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and meets critical needs in this area. The Majlis also approved that the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Commerce and Industry in coordination with the Supreme Council of Magistracy and other relevant authorities shall prepare a draft executive regulation to be submitted to the Council of Ministers for its approval.
